Las cosas que me pasan

Como siempre, estas son las cosas que me pasan:
Me había sumado a la manifestación virtual contra la directiva del Tiempo de Trabajo del 16 de diciembre en Estrasburgo (a la que lamentablemente por motivos de salud no podía asistir) en la página de Red progresista
Esto sucedió en diciembre.
Esta es la graciosa y atenta contestación que recibí en mi correo electrónico días después de Contact Greens:

"Thank you for your letter.
We share your criticism of the current text on the table as concerns the working time directive. The council common position is not acceptable, the Member States governments have decided on a truly unsocial text that has nothing to do with health and safety at work.
This is a step back in protecting workers from overworking. The Council proposal would make it possible to work up to 78 hours a week, and up to 65hours average working time per week. This is dangerous for workers and customers. Also it is dangerous to separate on-call time into active and in-active on-call time and only calculate active on-call time as working time. This could lead to doctors whose 2 hours inactive on-call time is calculated as rest periods, and who have to work without rest.
We Greens in the European Parliament will fight in 2nd reading to achieve:
- Greens call for an end to opt-outs from the Working time directive. This is health and safety legislation and there should be no opt-out from health and safety. It is a matter of health of all workers and safety at the workplace - be this a hospital, a factory or a kindergarden. There should be no opt-out to legislation which is at the core of Social Europe.
-Greens ask that all on-call time is regarded as working time. Working time is all time that a worker has to be at the disposal of the employer. If you are on-call, this is no free time and therefore no rest time.
